That's right, kids. We finally have a season!
We kick it off on Saturday, June 17 at the East Valley YMCA in North Hollywood with a flat-track bout between my team, the Fight Crew, putting a hit on the Tough Cookies.

First game of the season went well and the Fight Crew put the beatdown on the Tough Cookies. I think the final score was 28-13. Something like that, at any rate.
The heat was ridiculous but it was worth it! Remember kids to drink plenty of fluids when going to see roller derby...heat stroke sucks!
Our next game is on Saturday, July 15 at the East Valley YMCA. The Sirens are gonna take on the Tru$t Fund Terrors. That's gonna be a helluva match!
